Widows Group Widows Activities

Our Story

"In 1992 I lost my husband and saw the plight of other widows. Tradition and norms make widows live without hope. It makes them roam from one place to another and when this happens children are scattered. Many widows lose their properties."

As a result of this many are faced with contracting diseases and having children with multiple men hence making them live a life without dignity and honor.

My vision was to see a widow live a life of dignity and honor. I wanted to empower widows to be able to be self-reliant. I wanted a widow who will have determination to trudge on despite odds by finding what to do and do it rather than living a life of dependency.

- Rev. Consolate A. Muga

As a result of this many are faced with contracting diseases and having children with multiple men hence making them live a life without dignity and honor.
