About Us
Mercy Mainflower Academy began in the year 2000 as Early Childhood Centre catering for learners from the children home. It later became a full primary school in the year 2008 after the post election violence in Kenya. The school is open to learners from the community.
It began with iron-tined classrooms and with tremendous growth; the school currently is of permanent buildings through the support of African Action International (AAI) a nonprofit organization in Australia.

The school was registered as a single stream and with the increase of learners; the available infrastructure has been overstretched. The learners are overcrowded in the classrooms due to increased admissions as a result of the institution being CBC compliant (Competency Based Curriculum) has made it even more challenging as the Curriculum is more practical and Competency based thus additional infrastructure is required which incorporates the junior secondary wing.
